Ritu Shringar, Dance BalletRitu Shringar is a saga of seasons- summer, rains, autum, winters, chilly winters and spring as experienced by Indians. Seasons occupy very important position in our country as Food & Festivals, Mood & Music, Attire & Attitudes, Fashion and Clothing revert around.
Portraying a sensuous and precise picture of seasons, the great Sanskrit poet 'Kalidas' wrote a poetic master piece called 'Ritu Samharam'. This ballet interweaves seasons with the enchanting mythical figure of Radha & Krishna. With the magical tale of Radha & Krishna, the ballet also unfolds the wide spectrum of emotions like love, passion, sorrow which travels in our heart with the changing seasons. "It was indeed a feast to watch the charming performance by your group on the occasion of our prestigious international conference. The intention of portraying the richness of Indian classical form of art to international participants was fully met through your programme. There was a lot of discussions in the audiance on the details of Ritu's and its sensuous influence on human being that was beautifully depicted in the musical dance."
